We shall find out how France has acquired its varietals, why Bordeaux

is associated with austere Cabernet Sauvignon and supple Merlot,

why vintners blend in some Cabernet Franc or Malbec.

We will taste all this beauty together with regional culinary specialties from

the boutique shop „Le marché de Terra Vina“

South Africa is a splendid country.  South African wines are old and wonderful, different and unique, and will be introduced by charming Elsie Pells CWM, one of only 71 Cape Wine Masters in the world.

Not only will we try Chenin and Sauvignon Blanc, but also famous Muscat d´Alexandrie Late Harvest. Reds will be represented by Shiraz, Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon, a Cape blend of great years and unbelievable complexity.

Elsie suggested serving them with a dinner of such famous South African delicacies as ostrich carpaccio and ostrich steak.

Parnas chef Frantisek Skabroud will prepare them the best way you can ever imagine, tasty, tender and succulent.

Ostrich meat is described as having a sweeter and richer taste than other meats, and for its low content of fat and cholesterol,

it is considered a healthy alternative to the traditional meats.
